Recognizes Company’s Capability to Deliver Reliable Customer
Solutions and Proven Best Practices
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CACI International Inc (NYSE:
CACI) announced today its U.S. Operations is the first organization
in the U.S. to complete an appraisal under the CMMI Institute’s new
Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development version 2.0 (CMMI
DEV V2.0) Maturity Level 3. The latest version of the CMMI model
requires higher standards in measuring an organization’s ability to tie
business goals directly to operations driving measurable, improved
performance against time, quality, budget, customer satisfaction, and
other key attributes.
The Department of Defense and federal civilian government agencies use
CMMI DEV V2.0 as a framework to evaluate a contractor’s ability to
perform on systems and software engineering projects. CACI’s appraisals
were performed by Process Assessment, Consulting and Training LLC, a
CMMI Institute partner organization.
CACI’s early adoption of CMMI V2.0 confirms CACI’s organizational
commitment to providing its customers with accurate, and predictable
processes that deliver solutions to meet government mission
requirements. By moving to the new CMMI V2.0, CACI assures its customers
its solutions follow industry-standard processes to deliver solutions on
time and within budget. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the
organization’s processes are well-characterized, including its
standards, procedures, tools, methods, and governance.
CACI President of U.S. Operations DeEtte
Gray said, “CACI’s U.S. Operations CMMI-DEV V2.0 Maturity Level 3
rating assures our customers the advanced solutions we provide meet
rigorous industry standards. We are gratified the reviewers singled out
our Agile Solutions Factory, coupled with our disciplined Delivery+
framework, as an optimal adoption of the Agile methodology and a basis
for our continuous improvement journey.”
CMMI is registered by the CMMI Institute in the U.S. Patent and
Trademark Office.
