The list, which crosses information technology, defense, government, transportation, and consulting industries, is based on nominations from veteran hiring experts of best-in-class companies with proven veteran hiring and retention practices and self-reported data from the nominees on percentage of 2018 veteran hires, total hires, and additional veteran support initiatives.
