Work Will Enhance CENTCOM Communication in Support of Regional
Stability
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CACI International Inc (NYSE
MKT: CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $22 million
prime contract to continue supporting the U.S.Central Command (CENTCOM)
Central Command Communication Integration (CCCI) organization. This
five-year award represents continuing business for CACI.
With national and international partners, CENTCOM promotes cooperation
among nations, responds to crises, and deters or defeats state and
non-state aggression. CCCI serves as CENTCOM’s principal adviser on all
internal and external communication strategies and supports the
command’s theater objectives. CCCI also keeps U.S. and regional
audiences informed about CENTCOM operations focused on maintaining
national security, improving regional stability, and promoting and
protecting U.S. interests in the command’s area of responsibility.
Under this contract, CACI will provide CCCI with planning support as
well as cultural and linguistic expertise to assess information that
supports senior leader decision-making. CACI’s experts will also
evaluate public information in order to enhance the command’s
communication of its purpose and activities to regional audiences. This
will include leveraging innovative solutions to enable the command to
maintain a proactive and relevant social media presence, engage regional
populations, and communicate its mission.
