Company to Support Intelligence Integration to Protect U.S. Forces
Around the Globe
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CACI International Inc (NYSE:
CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a task order, with a
ceiling value of $1.77 billion, to provide deployable analytical
operations, integrated intelligence, and training services to the Joint
Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO). The five-year task order,
awarded under the General Services Administration OASIS contract,
represents new work for CACI in its Intelligence
Services market area. The anticipated spend is estimated at $875.6
million, which the company will be recording as an increase to its total
backlog.
JIDO supports Department of Defense Combatant Commands as part of the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency. It provides tactical responsiveness in
support of counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, and countering
improvised explosive devices. Under the contract, the CACI team will
support JIDO’s critical Focused Support/Decisive Effort mission by
assisting joint forces in integrating capabilities, technologies, and
processes to disrupt and defeat enemy networks in locations around the
globe.
